Make no mistake: if one loves sin then one hates Christ. If one loves Christ then one hates sin. These are two fully mutually exclusive statements. You cannot have them both simultaneously.

I have found, much to my dismay, that many times when I thought I loved Christ, I in fact hated Him. I loved sin so very much more.
