“Our anxiety about unbelievers is most usefully employed when it leads us not to speculation but to earnest prayer for them and the attempt to be in our own lives such good advertisements for Christianity as will make it attractive.”
— C.S. Lewis
Our lives are the Light to all around us. Put away your words. Put away your slogans. Set aside your vain evangelization. If the ones God has placed around you cannot see, feel and know Christ by your very self, your words are worthless. They are a mockery of Christ and the cross.
Let God wrench your heart. Weep over your sins. Immerse yourself in His wonderful mercy for you. Then, and only then, from the great depths of your soul, God will bring forth the Word. And you will speak.
