“We were created to live on earth unlike animals who die and disappear with time, but with the high purpose to live with God not for a hundred years or so but for eternity”
+ St. Innocent of Alaska
Here is our conundrum: we are a people given only one day. Today. Our entire life is lived in our Today. At the same time we are purposed for eternity. To the ends of our very selves we desire to stretch beyond the Today and reach for Eternity.
And here we are – juxtaposing the temporal and eternal in our feeble souls. Torn in two between our desire for both.
