We are puffed up with our pride. The same pride that puffs up the devil. I am greater than a simple member of creation. I have ascended. I am divine. I am God.

All of this is superfluous. We are no greater. We have not ascended. And we will be proven to be less than God in the grave. As our bodies rot. Unable to raise ourselves. Unable to continue one moment longer than what has been given to us.

The true God does not need to speak. He does not need to prove Himself. He is absolute Power and absolute Humility. He is perfect Love. And perfect Love puts on the lowest of forms – not as a show, but for another.

Just for us.
