If you want to understand the potential of those whom you think to be your enemies, simply look at yourself. Do you really think you are that far away from where they are? I have been that person. I have done the same things. And if not the same, I was very close. I am never more than a step or two away from anyone.

How can you pray for your enemies? Exactly as you would hope someone would pray for you: God have mercy on him. God forgive him. God help him. And help me to be Christ to him as I may be the only image of Christ he will ever see. Please don’t let me fail him – as I have failed You.
