“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.”

All of our struggles, pains, beatings will not destroy us. Though the world seems to have its foot on our throat, we are not lost.

No one can defeat us.

No one can overthrow us.

Even in our own death we are not overcome. For we already carry the very marks of death inside of us. Nails. A cross. And our pierced Savior.
