The gift of salvation that was purchased for us by Christ demands something from us. Yes, indeed, Christ alone paid our debt. He ransomed us from the bondage of our sin and the Devil.
And what does He ask from us?
Everything.
In Christ we are crucified and we no longer live. We simply die. And Christ, our risen Savior, lives in us. And through us.
