This is a beautiful part of the Orthodox liturgical calendar – the Sunday of forgiveness. Whether it is the Orthodox or the Eastern Rite Catholic Church, this day is the day for all to begin their Lenten (Great Fast) journey with a time of confession and repentance.

How have I wronged others? Let me ask their forgiveness. Let me forgive them for what they have done to wrong me. Let us fulfill together the Lord’s Prayer.
