Every gift from God – spiritual or material – has been given for a reason. And, being divinely given, that reason will never be for selfishness. Never for me. The true joy of the gifts from God are in the sharing. The deepest meaning of the gifts is in the communal nature of them.

Every thought that claims – This is mine! is a perversion of the gift itself. A direct turning away from God.

It is to worship an idol.
