We like to think of Thomas Aquinas as a walking brain. A man of profound thought influenced by Augustine and Aristotle. But he is so much more. He is a man of deep love for his God. Deep humility. Deep purity. His prayers echo through hundreds of years the yearnings of our hearts: to seek, to find, to please, to persevere. And finally, when all is over and the curtain has been drawn, that we can hold Him. Falling to our knees in His arms. And hearing His most beautiful words: Well done. Welcome home.
