The kingdom of God does not advance through cultural achievement but through divine rescue.
Michael Horton, Introducing Covenant Theology
Our faith is not cultural. It is not timely. Or vogue.
Truth does not bend at our whims. It does not expand in blind acceptance. Nor contract in narrow-mindedness.
The Kingdom of God is within us as our entire selves are filled with the Holy Spirit at the time of our Baptism. It is not outside where fashionable trends act as waves over reality.
The kosmos is the illusion that stands in stark contrast to the Kingdom. It vacilates and wavers through time. The Kingdom, though, will last forever.
