How many times have I been twisted around the events of the day? Worrying about what will come next. Fretting about which road to choose.

During a most trying time, I walked along the street. And feeling the anxiety welling up inside of myself – being engulfed – I looked up at the moon. Shining, luminescent, beaming across the sky. And I realized that this same moon will be there tomorrow. All will continue ahead. My anxiety will not depose the moon. Or anything else.

Only myself.
